SHOCK & AWESOMESAUCE!

The last few weeks have been interesting to say the least. To my absolute shock, Beautiful Disaster debuted on the New York Times best seller list at #29, the next week at #28, and this week jumping six spots to #22. This is remarkable, not only because BD was written for fun and published on a whim, but also because of the adversity the book (and I) have faced since January. It is only because of the fans of BD and your enthusiasm for your friends to read the story that this was possible, and for that, I thank you so very much. Another reason I’m shocked is because I am one of three self-published authors enjoying spots on the NYT. THREE. This was unheard not too long ago. It’s been a long road, and I am thrilled to be among the few self-published authors who’ve experienced this accomplishment.

In other news, Eden was released and debuted at #10 on Amazon’s Action & Adventure category, and  #200 overall. An amazing introduction, and I am so excited about the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The general consensus is that readers are very satisfied with the way the Providence series wrapped up, and that is music to the ears of any writer!

Something you might not know: Requiem is now available in paperback from Amazon! Providence hit a few snags concerning the cover, but that issue should be remedied any  day, and then the first book of the series will also be in paperback and on sale! You can still order signed copies from the website (click on the BOOKS tab, and then on the Providence or Requiem covers to find the purchase button), but don’t wait too long, because once Providence is up on Amazon, the purchase buttons on the site will be removed and that is your last chance to procure signed copies!

I’ve had many readers ask about signed books. As many of you know, our family expects a new addition in the fall, and I have decided to put all signings on hold. Signings during the holidays were being considered, but I’ve decided that having a newborn and trying to keep a signing schedule will not be feasible for my family. I will consider a new signing schedule in the spring of 2013, but not earlier. I’ve also had some readers ask about mailing me books to sign. I will allow readers to do this once I appropriate a post office box, as I’ve deemed it unsafe to list my home address for return.

Summer is quickly approaching, and I am looking forward to working (and hopefully finishing) Travis’ POV by fall. The cover and title reveal should be in the June or July, and will hopefully tide you over until the release. I will of course update you on my progress!

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and a happy Mother’s Day!

Jamie

HAPPY RELEASE DAY!

May 1st is here! What does that mean for my readers? That EDEN has been released!

Both eBook and paperback versions are on sale now at Amazon and Barnes & Noble! For eBook only: iBooks, Kobo, Sony, Diesel, and Smashwords! You can also find the paperback at my Createspace eStore.

If you would like to see any of my books in your local bookstore, ask them for it! They can order any of my titles from Ingram (the largest book distributor most book stores use).

I am so incredibly excited to bring you the final installment of the Providence series. It’s both a relief and bittersweet. I’m looking forward to writing something new, but at the same time, the Ryels are like family to me. It’s sad to see them go. However, I promised you EDEN would be worth the wait, and in it you will find the romance you loved in Providence, combined with the action that kept you on your toes in REQUIEM.

Fans agree (click to see reviews) EDEN is the best of the Providence series.

The only question left is…have you read it?

I am thrilled to introduce you to my newly renovated website! Lysa at Pegasus Designs did a fantastic job putting this site together. Everything is how it was originally planned, and everything works! Want to hear the playlist I wrote Providence to? Go check it out! Beautiful Disaster and Requiem? They’re there, too! Need to shoot me an email? Click on the contact tab. It will *actually* go to my inbox! Want to read the first chapters of Providence, Requiem, or Beautiful Disaster? Go to Books, click a book cover and scroll to the bottom! There is even an FAQ to help answer any questions you have about my books or publishing in general.

The new website is amazing, and it’s beautiful. Thank you, Lysa!

For those of you that would like to order signed copies of Providence or Requiem, under the “books” tab, click the “more” link under the description of either book to find a PayPal Buy Now button. These are limited, and we all know that I won’t be holding book signings anytime soon, so don’t wait too long. They won’t last forever!

I will update my progress here on new projects, so don’t forget to bookmark 173.83.94.21 so you can visit often, and keep up-to-date on any new manuscripts. You can also find me on Facebook.

TRAVIS POV NEWS

As of March 27th:

Okay Beautiful Disaster lovers, only 1,000 or so have asked me to announce when I’ve started Travis’ POV. I have started it (barely, I just wrote the prologue last night). As always, I will update you on what chapter I’m at, but again I never announce a release date until I’m close enough to be sure I can hit that date. So no pressure, people! I’m a pregnant old lady now, and not sure if I can take it! ;) Seriously, though, my goal is to finish before I’m due so I can take time off with my newborn (that would be in September), but that is *not* official. I will have to work through the summer to make it – which I never do because the girls are home – but I am going to try very, very hard, because I love all of you and you’ve been so good to me. ♥

SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED (May contain spoilers)

1. The rumor you’ve heard is true. I am planning to write both a Beautiful Disaster from Travis’ point-of-view, and a story for Trent. I don’t know if I will write books for the other brothers, but these will be my “Beautiful” series, and I’m excited to write them. Some things I would like for you to know:

  • Travis’ book will be my next project.
  • I haven’t started it, yet, so I don’t know when the release date will be.
  • I will write a different non-Beautiful series book between Travis’ and Trent’s stories.
  • Travis’ POV will have a satiating glimpse into the future of Travis and Abby’s relatioship in its epilogue.

2. Beautiful Disaster is now in paperback! You can order it from either Amazon.com or my Createspace eStore at the following: https://www.createspace.com/3701009

3. There has been quite a bit of murmuring about the ending of Beautiful Disaster, as to whether or not Abby was pregnant. I assure you, she is not. Abby has enough to deal with now that she’s married to Travis Maddox! ;)
