AMAZON BEAUTIFUL DISASTER EMAILS – UPDATE

The following is the official statement about my experience with Amazon:

“As you all know, this weekend Amazon sent an email to readers who had previously purchased the self-published edition of Beautiful Disaster stating that this edition was no longer available and a refund was possible if they purchased the new edition. TRAVISPALOOZA – RE-SCHEDULED GRAND FINALE

Tomorrow is the grand finale of TRAVISPALOOZA! Travia Round Three **and** the Travia Throwdown!

For your chance to compete in the Throwdown, you must first watch Twitter and Facebook at 7 pm CENTRAL STANDARD TIME for the five questions of Travia. As before, you must answer all five questions correctly. The first person from Twitter, and the first person from Facebook to do so wins!

THEN an hour later at 8:00 pm Central Standard, the winners from Round 1, 2, and 3 will compete in a sudden death round in the Throwdown. This will be on Facebook only. I will announce the Throwdown in a status on Facebook, and then I will ask the first question to the first contestant. If they answer correctly, they are still in it to win it!  If they don’t know the answer, or get the answer wrong, the question will then go to the next contestant. If that contestant gets that question right, the previous contestant is out! Make sense? Don’t worry…it will! =) We still have two spots open for the Throwdown, so don’t miss tomorrow’s TRAVIA!

This month has been … well, there is no other word to describe this month other than incredible. My website has experienced over 4.5 MILLION hits. Just. This. Month. INCREDIBLE! Travis Maddox is a lucky, lucky man. His fans have more enthusiasm, creativity, and sense of loyalty than any fans I’ve heard of before. Saturday, March 2nd marked the 1 month countdown to the release of Walking Disaster. I am just as excited as you are! I am wringing my hands and biting my nails thinking about the first 24 hours, and what it will be like to watch the feedback trickling in as you all get your hands on Walking Disaster and finish it in record time (we all know you will!).

For March, things on the website will go back to normal except for Travis Tuesdays. Travis Tuesdays will stay the same! Check back here every Tuesday in March for a chance to win signed copies of Walking Disaster, and to find out the book signing schedule for Walking Disaster.

Please watch with me tomorrow night live to see who will win the final round of Travia and advance for the Travia Throwdown grand prize. There is no time limit for the Throwdown, and it’s going to be exciting, but PLEASE, like Adam says, no assisting the contestants!
