The Edge of Us Is NOW LIVE!

I’m so excited that The Edge of Us is finally live! Every book release comes with a mix of nervousness and excitement and this one is no different. But this release also comes with a huge feeling of relief and gratitude for everyone’s patience and support for the newest McGuire read. I know we had a few hiccups getting this book released, but it's here, and I hope you love Zeke and Naomi's story as much as I think you will.

If you haven’t picked up your copy yet, you can still do so!

Synopsis: Widowed before thirty, Naomi Abrams has been through a lot. Her husband Matt sacrificed his life to save his Marine brothers. Daughter of the US modern militia’s founder, heartbroken Naomi joins the Marines in Matt’s place, too-ready to do anything to help protect his team—men who are like brothers to her now. Retiring together to the town of Colorado Springs, they’ve assembled to take on the job of security at the top-secret military base, the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. As they struggle to adjust to their civilian lives, they also discover new dangers. Zeke Lund has been alone since being bumped out of the foster system at age eighteen, and now his rag-tag family consists of his hotshot brothers and sisters. Shattered by his first love, Zeke never planned to fall for someone again, especially not during fire season in the Colorado mountains, but Naomi is unlike anyone he’s ever met. She’s strong, stubborn, and takes exactly zero crap from anyone. At the top of a freezing canyon, the fire glowing down below, Zeke finally admits he may have feelings for the widow with the foul mouth and broken soul. When his health begins to fail, he wonders if he should love her enough to let her go or let her fight with him—with the real possibility of burying another man she loves. Despite hurt, pain, fires, and illness, two strong people with fragile hearts struggle to beat the odds… and their love might just be strong enough to survive it all.

Check out some of my favorite reviews (so far):

  • “Oh wow where do I start! This story is thrilling, explosive, funny & brilliant. I can't count how many times I'd cry in this story. It's one hell of a great story fill of passion, heartbreak & amazing twists and turns throughout it. Zeke & Naomi's story is so great I didnt sleep at all. I couldnt put it down.

I'm really looking forward to the next book. I'd love to read it now & see where the next couple will be involved with.” - Sherryle, Goodreads reviewer

  • “OMG! THIS BOOK! Zeke is SUCH a sweetheart. And Naomi! Let’s talk about Naomi. She’s been teased as the Female Travis Maddox and she so is but she totally holds her own candle. She is and earns her own bad ass title. And when I say bad ass, I mean BAD ASS. I absolutely love her personality and whit. She made me laugh so much! I kept highlighting so many of her lines. Two thumbs WAY up to Jamie on this one. There’s so much I could say but I don’t want to spoil it. All I will say is Jamie spoils us with all the Easter Eggs. Loved them!! I highly recommend everyone read this book. You’ll enjoy it! Trust me. I already can’t wait until the next one.” - Lisa, Goodreads reviewer

  • “Every book that Jamie McGuire has ever written I have instantly been consumed by and LOVED ever second of it. And The Edge Of Us is no different. Naomi and Zeke made me laugh and smile, get misty eyed, and love them. Seeing some of my favorites throughout just made it so much better.” - Amazon reviewer

  • “Read until the very last word.

I swear. I don’t know how Jamie does it... she always one ups herself with every new release. The McGuire magic is strong with this one.

Keeping this review spoiler free, if you enjoyed the Maddox Brothers and Trex and Darby, you’ll love Zeke and Naomi. You’ll laugh, you’ll, if you’re anything like me, (ugly) cry, have minor anxiety attacks because you’re so nervous, and completely fall in love with badass Marine Naomi Abrams, and sweetheart Zeke Lund. You get action, romance, suspense, AND you get to meet the female Travis Maddox! There’s not much more you can ask for.

One of the things that always makes me smile are the little details that Jamie throws in for us die-hards. Little throw backs to previous books in the series, or unrelated series. It’s nothing big, but it’s like a little recognition to MacPack, like she’s saying “I see you out there, and I love you.”, and I just love that.

Can’t wait for the next one!!” -Michelle, Goodreads reviewer

  • There is drama, comedy, action, contempt, and so much love in this book! Jamie McGuire is one of my favorites for a reason and she keeps knocking it out of the park!

Go read the book! ITS AMAZING!” - Wendi B, Amazon reviewer
